IIJ Cloud-Based Network Service
About the Service Overview
Private Backbone serves as the central pillar for the various clouds, networks, and security services provided by IIJ, functioning as the customer's core network.
You can gain one-stop access to IT resources provided by IIJ through its cloud and company data centers. In addition, you can link directly to the largest Japanese Internet backbone, for optimal, high-quality connections to the Internet and multi-cloud environments.
Service Features
Excellent scalability
The various IIJ services available through this service can be gradually expanded. First, you can start small with SD-WAN or IaaS, for example.
Numerous access points nationwide
Access points for this service from customer locations are established at IIJ data centers throughout Japan. This allows customers to connect to the nearest access point and minimize line costs. Additionally, disaster recovery can also be achieved by using access points across different regions in conjunction.
Access to cloud services via multi-carrier
As an independent provider, IIJ imposes no restrictions on which carriers can connect your location to this service. Unlike cloud connection services from other telecommunications providers, flexible configuration is possible.
