TOKYO – June 30, 2025 - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, TSE Prime: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that the IIJ Document Exchange Service (DOX), an online storage service for corporate customers, has been registered on the Cloud Service List under the government’s Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP) as a service that meets the ISMAP security standards.
The goal of ISMAP is to provide advance assessment and registration of cloud services that satisfy government-stipulated security requirements in order to ensure security standards in government cloud service procurement and to facilitate the adoption of cloud services. As a rule, government agencies procure cloud services only from among those registered on the ISMAP Cloud Service List. Services registered with ISMAP are recognized as meeting the level of security assessment standards that are required for government information systems, and this allows customers to use those services with a higher level of safety and security.
